Roadworks Curragh Racecourse Road Realignment

The works for this project included the design and site supervision of the reinforced concrete horse tunnel, single carriageway approximately 1.0 km in length and boundary treatment to adjoining owner.

The carriageway was provided with kerbs, footpaths, cycle paths, line markings, signage, guard rails, etc. together with the full range of services and utilities, including foul and surface water drainage, water main, gas main, ESB ducts, public lighting, CCTV ducting etc.

Culvert with headwalls and underpass (11.5 x 35 metres) were designed to allow access from the horses stables to the grounds of the racecourse.
