ROADS
On the roads front work is continuing on the €100 million, 16.5 kilometre N24 Carrick On Suir Bypass scheme. This is a high quality dual carriageway project on behalf of the NRA and South Tipperary County Council. The Route Selection Report is currently under completion and work will commence soon on the EIS and Preliminary Design Report. In tandem with this, a full scale Visum Traffic Model is under preparation for the scheme. We have also recently completed the detailed design and contract documents for the Tyrrelstown to N2 (Cherryhound Interchange) Link Road – value €32 million for Fingal County Council.
OCSC’s Polish Office based in Warsaw has recently been awarded two significant road design contracts by Local Government Agencies. Design work has just commenced on the two schemes one of which is 16 kilometres in length.
We are actively pursuing more road contracts in Poland, in both the traditional and Design – Build areas, and expect further significant developments in the immediate future – Watch this Space!
