Children’s Unit at Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan
The site for this project is located on the edge of Castleblayney town opposite the Laurel Hill Convent of Mercy Secondary School. The development comprises of 2 No. 6 bed residential units incorporating social spaces, an Education unit, an Administration unit and a Visitors Accommodation facility. The buildings were grouped around a central open space providing a safe and secure environment. The design of the buildings and open space were informed to create a campus on a human scale.
