Primary Care Centre at Irishtown Dublin 4
This is a new c.1000m2 primary care centre on the existing brown field site. The structure is a three storey RC frame with a central atrium and rooflight. The building is supported on bored piles and has a suspended ground floor slab.
Our site investigation determined that ground contamination was a problem and we decided that the building needed to be protected with a gas proof membrane, passive gas ventilation below the suspended ground floor slab and a real time gas monitoring/alarm system.
