Morrison Hotel, Dublin
The Morrison Hotel, situated on the corner of Lower Ormond Quay and Swift Row occupies a footprint of approximately 50m x 25m. The building is a six storey building over single basement with the lower two storeys constructed in reinforced concrete and the remaining storeys in load bearing masonry with precast concrete hollowcore floor units. The building is clad in a mixture of Portland stone, brickwork and rendered blockwork. On the south west corner of the site at No. 15 Lower Ormond Quay the façade was retained and incorporated into the development.
