Mixed Use Development at 22-24 St Pancras Way
22-24 St Pancras Way is a 6-7 storey new build development consisting of 71 apartments over ground floor office accommodation. Durkan Ltd are employed by Genises Housing Association as the Main Contractor to Design and Build this new development.
This project is on site and the design intent is to construct piled foundations supporting RC columns and walls which in turn will support 240mm RC flat slabs. Alterations are required to the adjacent Canal Wall Structure at the rear of the site and meetings have taken place with British Waterways to agree the proposed method of construction.
A petrol station previously occupied the site and a site investigation, contamination risk assessment and a method statement for the removal of buried tanks containing petroleum have been completed and agreed with the Environment Agency.
