Office Refurbishment, Half Moon Street, Mayfair

OCSC were appointed as consulting engineers for the refurbishment of this 19th Century Building for Durkan Estates’ new offices in Mayfair. OCSC carried out inspections of the existing building structure and provided remedial work solutions where strengthening works to the existing structure were required.

Internal loadbearing walls were proposed to be demolished and OCSC designed a cost efficient network of steel beams whereby the internal walls could be demolished and the requirement for costly temporary props was avoided.
