OCSC have been working continuously with Dublin City University since 1995. We have provided Civil and Structural Consulting Engineering Services for the ongoing campus development including master planning exercises and detailed design of the:
- Biological and Chemical Sciences Building,
- Research Centre,
- School of Nursing,
- The Helix Aula Maxima,
- Student Accommodation,
- Swimming Pool,
- Sports Centre,
- Sport Science Centre,
- National Institute of Cellular Biotechnology and
- Albert College.
We are also providing full multidisciplinary consulting engineering services for the new research building in the area of Nano-Biotechnology.
Each project has particular academic requirements, physical site constraints or procurement targets. In OCSC we have developed a systematic process of assisting in the development of the brief and then distilling that brief into the engineering challenges. Once the engineering project is fully understood we present a number of scheme design solutions for discussion so the best fit solution for the particular building can be selected. Our long standing valued relationship with DCU has only been possible through a flexible working approach and delivery of projects within tight budget and time constraints.
