This apartment development is a five storey building consisting of 46 units in Wandsworth. The development consisted of CFA piled foundations and RC ground beams support loadbearing masonry walls with RC vertical ties and precast floor slabs.
As the site is located beside Network Rail’s railway line, negotiations took place to satisfy Network Rail that the construction of this new building would not adversely affect the railway line during the construction phase.
The site lies within the River Thames’ 1 in 200 year flood risk zone. OCSC completed the Flood Risk Assessment and protection measures have been put into place to protect the building in the event of a flood.
