Ballyman Golf Course

O’Connor Sutton Cronin Consulting Engineers developed an 18 hole golf course in Ballyman.  The main body of the project consisted of the soft and hard landscaping of 300 acres of site with irrigation reservoirs and on course lakes.

In addition to this 18 hole golf course our engineers designed a 9 hole golf course.  Where possible these two courses followed existing topography, hence reducing the area of soil to be exposed and maintaining the existing storm response hydrograph.  Artificial surface water feature lakes and integrated wetlands were constructed and formed an integral part of the design.

The works included the construction of a drainage and irrigation network with associated structures, earthworks for Civil Engineering Works, retaining structures, and all necessary ancillary works.
