O'Connor Sutton Cronin Structural Engineering was 21 years old last year. On passing this landmark milestone in the history of the practice many new achievements in structural engineering were achieved on our Structural Engineering projects.
The world first carbon neutral concrete was poured in the National Conference Centre in Spencer Dock.
The two largest ever continuous concrete pours in Ireland were achieved on the Point Watchtower and the Spencer Dock hotel.
Elm Park Development opened its doors with Irelands first truly green mixed use development set around a reconstructed parkland sitting on 12 acres of basement car parking.
Detailed design work on Irelands first buildings greater than 30 storeys was carried our in OCSC on the Point Watchtower, Spencer Dock hotel, Titanic Tower in Belfast, Elm Park hotel and this lead to commissions to design tower buildings in Park Place Canary Wharf London, Warsaw and a group of towers in Abu Dhabi rising to 55 storeys.
