OCSC continuously strive to keep Sustainability at the heart of all their activities.
We continuously look for new ideas and techniques to reduce the energy demands, use of water and production of waste of the buildings we design. We select materials and construction methods that minimize the carbon impact of the building process and encourage the use of local, natural materials.
Our goal is to minimize the impact that our activities and the buildings we design have on our environment.
BER Certification
O’Connor Sutton Cronin are happy to now be in a position to offer our Clients a building energy rating service to produce BER Certificates for commercial properties and new and existing domestic properties.
Under recent legislation, any new or existing building offered for sale or rental on or after the 1st January 2009 is required to have a Building Energy Rating carried out.
Sustainable Energy Ireland is the body responsible for issuing the BER Certificatess once the assessment has been carried out by an accredited assessor. We have an in-house team of highly qualified Engineers who are registered as Assessors and can also offer advice on improving the energy performance and efficiency of a building.
