O’Connor Sutton Cronin is delighted to announce that the EXO Building won two awards at the Irish Building and Design Awards (IBDA) 2022 which was held in the Intercontinental Hotel on Friday 7th October. The Exo won ‘Engineering Project of the Year’ along with ‘Commercial / Office Building Project of the Year’.

The EXO is Dublin’s tallest office building. This landmark office building located adjacent the Point Village at the gateway of the River Liffey to the city, provides a new focal point on Dublin’s skyline. The vivid blue EXO-skeleton structural steel frame allows the 16 floors of office space to float above the busy public realm below. Built with strength, beauty and sustainability in mind this enduring and striking structure delivers 182,000 sq ft of Grade A office space while maintaining access to the existing public realm at ground floor.

We would like to extend our congratulations to the entire project team and our OCSC Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Sustainability and Environmental Engineering teams involved in this project. Well Done to everyone involved.
