OCSC is delighted to share the ongoing progress of the Obelisk Bridge located in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. This project aims to improve the safety and longevity of the bridge by replacing the existing RC deck slab, installing a waterproofing system to RC deck slab, grit blasting and installation of a protective paint system for all elements, addressing cross-sectional loss and missing connections, repointing abutment pillars, reconstructing the approach and departure walls, installing a new road surface, and lining both sides of the structures.
The project has involved a collaborative effort from everyone involved and we look forward to its successful completion.
