OCSC, Ireland’s leading Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Safety Officer / ISO Systems Coordinator based in our Dublin office.

Role

The successful candidate, will as OCSC’s Safety Officer, advise Directors regarding best practice.

The successful candidate will also assist the Quality Manager and Directors to ensure compliance with ISO requirements for Health and Safety (45001), Quality (9001) and Environment (14001).

This role is a hybrid role (50% WFH/50% office based) and could be a part time role for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Health and Safety (or willingness to acquire same).
  • 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety and ISO systems, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Competency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude.

Accountabilities

  • Update OCSC Safety Statements.
  • Provide advice regarding H&S legislation.
  • Promote awareness of OCSC EHSQ policies and procedures, including organising Safety, Quality, and ‘Green’ weeks.
  • Update ISO documents – SOP’s, QF’s, SF’s, Policy updates, change management and master document logs etc.
  • Conduct internal H&S Audits.
  • Liaise with external ISO Auditors as required.
  • Conduct Safety Induction training for new employees.
  • Support OCSC Wellness team and audit requirements.
  • Other support for ISO as required.
