ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Daylight/ Sunlight & Overshadowing analysis.
- Wind/ Microclimate assessments.
- Assessment of suitable systems for use, and relaying findings to client and wider design team.
- Part L/ BER crosschecks in performance for preliminary designs/ planning applications.
- Detailed design to practical completion phases.
- Mentoring junior/ graduate engineers.
- Knowledge of Irish and UK Building Regulations Part L .
- Knowledge Building Energy Regulations including daylight / wind and Part L / BER requirements.
- Ability to work within a diverse team of engineers
- Can do attitude.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Working towards Chartered status.
