OCSC was appointed as Sustainability Engineers to Dublin Landings which has achieved LEED Platinum on Block D1 & D2 of the development, with Block A currently targeting LEED Platinum. Dublin Landings is a new, mixed-use, City Block located in the prestigious Docklands Area of Dublin City where most of the newly built Central Business District is accommodated.

  • The site was master planned by Arrow Architects of Denmark for Ballymore Properties and Oxley Holdings Limited.
  • The former brownfield site is 2.4 hectares (5.9 acres) in area.  When complete, Dublin Landings will accommodate 65,000 m2 (700,000 ft2) of commercial development in 5 separate blocks along with 276 residential apartments in 6 separate blocks.
  • The design team in collaboration with the sustainability consultant implemented a number of upgrades to green the projects, including a focus on the selection of sanitaryware fittings.
  • Underground parking and the installation of a vegetated roof assisted in avoiding the heat island effect. To cut back on materials and resources as well as CO2 emissions, the builder achieved over 95% of the construction waste from the site.
